dr. Michael Verdonck

On the 24th of May Michael Verdonck successfully defended his phd “Ontology-driven conceptual modeling: Model Comprehension, Ontology Selection and Method Complexity.”

Frederik Gailly is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Ghent University. In the Faculty he is part of the department of Management Information Science and Operational Management. Frederik Gailly obtained his PHD in December 2008 at Ghent University under the supervision of Prof. dr. Geert Poels. The title of his PHD was: ‘The Operationalization of Business Ontologies: representation, formalization and application’. His research interests are conceptual modeling, business modeling and enterprise ontologies.
